Welcome New Board Members, Rob Mathers and Debbie Reed
The PUD Board of Directors has two new members: Rob Mathers and Debbie Reed. Mathers was elected to represent customers in Subdivision 3 (Yankton, Deer Island, and St. Helens), and Reed was appointed to represent customers in Subdivision 1 (Scappoose).
We want to find the motivators, the volunteers, and the heroes of Columbia County - all of the individuals who go above and beyond to make our community a better place to live.

Apply for Our Utility Engineering Internship
Our Utility Engineering Internship Program offers engineering students a chance to learn about utility careers through direct work experience. This year we plan to hire one summer intern in our engineering department.
The internship is open to high school seniors or college students majoring in engineering who live in our service area.

2017 My Fair Lady Court Nominations are Open
If you know a fabulous senior woman who volunteers in our community, please nominate her for the 2017 My Fair Lady Court. The My Fair Lady pageant is held during the Columbia County Fair and honors senior women for outstanding community service.

Asplundh will Trim Trees for PUD
Asplundh returns as our tree trimming service starting this year. You will now see orange and black Asplundh trucks in our territory working to trim and remove tree branches and shrubs that are growing too close to the power line rights-of-way.
