Thank you all who participated in the trip to Tallahassee on Tuesday to meet with Florida Legislators and present concerns from Brevard County. It was a long day, but very productive and informative and all four Chambers of Commerce were well represented.
Next Tuesday is our monthly Webinar featuring Shannon Gronich. We will discuss roadblocks and how to overcome them. Marty Ward will also join us to provide some valuable tools to implement when we get “stuck”. We also have our Member Orientation, on Wednesday, to explain all the Chamber benefits and help members access their Chamber portal.
There are a number of special events coming up: Speed Networking on Thursday, March 30 is a great way to meet a lot of business leaders in a short period of time, then follow up afterwards. Saturday, May 6th is our “Hats, Handbags & Horses” event featuring a live viewing of the Kentucky Derby. Join us from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. for “high tea”, silent auction and some fun activities.
Finally, Friday, May 19th is our 9th Annual Mayors Breakfast. It is a great way to get an update on all the cities and towns in Brevard County at one breakfast. We have sponsorships available for all our events, so don’t hesitate to reach out to the Chamber if you would like to participate.
