CHAMBER INTEL
June 29, 2017
Message from the President
I would like to thank Business Women of Brevard Chairwoman, Malak Hammad, for her dedication to this wonderful group.  The steering committee met and decided to re-launch the group as Brevard Business Professionals for our one-year anniversary in August.  This group has always been open to men, but we thought a name change encapsulated our intentions.  The group will continue to meet at Buena Vida Estates during these hot summer months then move back to Larsen Motorsports in the fall.

I would also like to thank Jessica Moore, from 142 Productions, for her assistance in changing over the Chamber’s email platform.  We appreciate her tireless efforts and calls on our behalf.  Our members definitely make the Chamber stronger and we value the partnerships we develop.

Finally, our 2018 Business Directory and Community Guide seems to be growing, but the prices have not.  This Community Guide will have information about the City of Palm Bay, West Melbourne, Grant-Valkaria, Malabar and now Melbourne.  South Brevard County has many wonderful hidden gems and we want to uncover them for tourists, relocations and residents alike to discover and enjoy.  Become a member of the Greater Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce by August 18th and you will receive a free listing in the guide.  There are also opportunities to have a larger presence starting at the low price of $350.  Call the Chamber for more details.

Please, don't forget our July's Luncheon is only changed for July 12th,  due to the holiday. For the remainder of the year it will be back to the First Wednesday of the month.

Have a wonderful weekend,

Nancy Peltonen
President/CEO
