Message from the President
This week we all said our goodbyes to Bonnie McKee.  Her sudden passing was such a shock to all, so it was nice to be able to gather publicly to share memories of how she touched our lives whether in a large or small way.  The outpouring of lovely sentiments truly showed the wonderful impact Bonnie had on those she met.  Bonnie's passing showed us all that life can never be taken for granted and we must enjoy every day.

If you would like to get into the holiday spirit, the Palm Bay Holiday Parade is this Saturday starting at 6:30 p.m. along Malabar Road starting at San Filippo and ending at Eldron.  It definitely is a magical event and the GPBCC will have a car in the parade.

Next Wednesday is our monthly luncheon at the Lifecare Center on Malabar Road.  Dr. Dwayne De Freese will talk about the Indian River Lagoon and how the ½ cent sales tax will be spent on improving the quality of the water over the next ten years.  Also, join us for our Holiday Open House Friday, December 9th from 11:00 - 6:00 at the Chamber.  We will have lots of food and drinks and it will be a wonderful time to network and chat in a relaxed atmosphere.  This is open to everyone, so please stop in even if it is just to say hi.

Have a wonderful weekend,

Nancy Peltonen
