Scenes from Inaugural OutStage@PBD Event

Terry Teachout’s Billy and Me
OutStage@PBD, Palm Beach Dramaworks’ new series offering special performances and events that engage and inspire the LGBTQ community, got off to a great start on Friday evening, December 15, with a performance of Terry Teachout ’s world premiere play, Billy and Me . Prior to the show, guests had dinner at Banko Cantina, and following the show they were treated to a talkback with Teachout and director William Hayes , and a reception with the cast.
The next OutStage@PBD event takes place on Friday, January 12, at 8pm, when the celebrated playwright, actor, director, cabaret artist, and gay icon Charles Busch will appear in concert in My Kinda 60s . This new show weaves tales of his Manhattan childhood and adolescence with Broadway and pop songs from the 1960s. Accompanying him is his longtime musical director/arranger Tom Judson . The performance will be followed by a reception with the artists.
The remaining OutStage@PBD schedule follows. Each event includes a pre- and post-performance reception, and a talkback at the conclusion of the show.
