Graduate Commencement
'12 Graduates pose outside of Main Building
Jessica Marx '12, Alexz Giacobbe '12, Raj Bunnag '12, and Matthew Smith '12 are interviewed by Voice of America correspondent Julie Taboh about their Undergraduate Commencement Thesis. Not surprisingly, all agree that receiving their degrees was the highlight of their academic careers.

"I feel amazing, I feel relieved. I feel blessed, I feel unbelievable," Jessica says. "It doesn't feel real. It's been such a long road and it's been a great road and I'm really happy to be done and ready to celebrate." - Jessica Marx

Many students feel confident about the road ahead, even in a tough economy, because of their experiences at MICA.

The summer's thesis exhibition for the MFA in Studio Art program will feature the work of nine graduating artists from this unique low-residency program. Areas of concentration include the full range of contemporary art practices.
