On the Spectrum

Park City Library, in partnership with KUED, will host a free screening of " On the Spectrum,"  a local KUED documentary. The screening will take place on Tuesday, April 3 rd at  6pm at the Park City Library's Jim Santy Auditorium.   The Q&A panel after the film will feature Paige Sparks and Lucky Ones Coffee. Ms. Sparks is the producer of " On the Spectrum"  and is an alum of Park City High School. Lucky Ones Coffee opened at the Park City Library in March. Their business creates fulfilling jobs for individuals with disabilities while promoting acceptance, independence, and community inclusion.
Writing Center
Writing is rough, but you don't have to do it alone. The Writing Center coaches are a non-judgemental resource to take your writing to the next level. They offer editiorial direction, proofreading, copyediting, and encouragement. They help with all types of writing from short stories to technical manuals to application essays. Visit them on the first and third Wednesdays of the month from 4pm-6pm. Assistance is provided as first come, first serve. Bringing printed copies of work is encouraged. 
Movies During School Break
The Park City Library and Park City Film Series are hosting free films during Park City School District spring break. Free admission and popcorn for all who attend! The following movies will be screened at 4pm: 
  • 4/9: Cinderella (2015)
  • 4/10: Lego Batman
  • 4/11: Step
  • 4/12: Leap
  • 4/13: Wonder
Park City Library is offering a new digital magazine service, RBdigital, in partnership with Recorded Books. With this new service, patrons can access digital magazines as well as digital audiobooks from one app and one log in. 
RBdigital features full-color, digital magazines for instant desktop reading, mobile streaming, and mobile-app download. With this service, patrons can:
  • add new and back issues to personal reading libraries with no holds
  • don't need to worry about checkout periods
  • can check out an unlimited number of magazines
