It was brought to our attention just days ago that new Winter Park food service fire codes will prohibit the use of food trucks at our annual school picnic this year. We invite everyone to dust off their picnic baskets and pack a lunch for you and your family to enjoy! We will be providing popcorn, cotton candy, and drinks.

Bring your whole family on Wednesday evening, February 28th from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. You will be blown away by the students' projects, and the Science Center will be open for you to enjoy! 

With the help of our grade level chairs, we have reached our goal for the number of judges needed for this weeks Science Expo. We want to say THANK YOU to all of our judges! I know this will be our best Science Expo yet. We can't wait for you all to see the outstanding projects our students have produced. See you there!

Magazine Fundraising Sale

It's time for our magazine fundraiser! This program returns 40% of every dollar back to our school. The money we raise will be used to meet important school goals that benefit our students.

Packets have gone home in student folders. Orders and money will be due on  Tuesday, Feb 27th . All payments can be made online. This is a great time to renew your current subscriptions!

If you come upon a Williamsburg costume taking up space in your closet, please consider donating it to Park Maitland for future classes to use!
We currently have collected over 30+ costumes and are hoping to increase this number before next year's trip with the eventual goal of having plenty of costumes for each year from which to borrow!  Both adult and child costumes are being collected. If you would like to donate your costume, please drop it off at the front desk!
Park Maitland staff and students attended a wonder-filled Camp Wonder kick-off assembly on Friday morning. Registration is now OPEN!

FREE EXTENDED CARE:
Park Maitland School offers extended care from 7:30 – 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. at no additional cost. A fee of $1.00 per minute is charged per camper/per minute after 5:00 p.m.
If you have friends of family members that are not currently affiliated with Park Maitland School, we are excited to invite them to join our Camp Wonder experience. Please share this information and bring a friend to join in on the fun!

IMPORTANT SECURITY UPDATE

Beginning this Monday, February 26th, t he Magnolia Gate will be secured at 5:00 PM. Parents picking up students at the gym will enter by the Orange Place gate.

All outer wear should be labeled for easy identification. If you are currently missing any items, please encourage your child to stop by our lost and found.
