National Standardized Test

Grades 1 - 3: April 23-26

We work very hard to teach your child well. They do not have to focus on preparing for this test. No particular "prep" at home or school is necessary. We do, however, encourage your child to relax, eat a good breakfast, and arrive to school on time during their ITBS testing week.

There are 3 ways to purchase your tickets:

This month at Park Maitland we will be focusing on Habit #7:
"Sharpen the Saw"

To "sharpen the saw" means that you are taking time to find balance in all areas of your life - physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional. This balance will help you feel well and be more successful in all that you do.

Share THIS video with your children to help them remember what it means to "Sharpen the Saw!"

Message from the
Security Manager:

We are in the final stretch with five weeks left until the end of school. It has been a great year so far and we want to finish on a high note. Here is a quick review of some of the things we can do to ensure the safety of our students, parents, faculty and staff for the remainder of the school year:

• Please be courteous to other drivers.
• If you are north bound on 17-92 DO NOT make the right turn on red at Magnolia
Avenue.
• Please allow parents with Left Turn Hangers to turn left off of Magnolia into the school.
• Keep your children inside the windows and sunroofs of your vehicles.
• Have your name placards visible for the caller and the teachers at the loading stations
during dismissal.
• As always, please refrain from texting or using cell phones while in the carpool lines.

Please continue to be patient and respectful! If you have any questions please feel free to email
me at: jjohnson@parkmaitland.org or call
(407) 647-3038 x248.
Thanks you in advance for your cooperation, and lets all work together to ensure the safety of the
students, parents, faculty and staff of the Park Maitland School!
