Over the last several months, the Board has worked on finalizing the master plan for the park located at the corner of Wheatlands Pkwy and S. Kewaunee Way.

Thank you to all of those who attended a public meeting and/or provided feedback on the proposed master plan.

At the community meeting held on Thursday, July 27th 2017 the Board approved the final master plan, which can be seen Here.

Over the next 5-6 months, the District's landscape architect will be creating a set of construction drawings, working with Aurora on the necessary permits, and developing a phasing plan for the park improvements.

As part of this fall's budget cycle, the District will be evaluating the amount of funding available for phase 1 of the park.　The District is also working with Aurora on a proposal to allow the District to apply for an Arapahoe County Open Space grant.
