Kingswood Updates

Exciting improvements have been made to our signature park and there is plenty more in store for 2023! The activity center at Kingswood Park is nearing completion, and we are excited to have our summer camps and new programs in the newly renovated space. We are so excited to have your little ones test their strength and agility on the new ninja course and have a blast on the 2 new playgrounds at Kingswood when they are done strolling on the beautiful walking paths. A ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the activity center and playground will take place this spring!

Christmas Tree Recycling

The holidays are winding down and the time has come to start taking down all your festive decor. Wait, don't throw out those broken lights or that live Christmas tree! We are here to help make your cleanup a little bit easier . Deerfield Township will have Christmas tree drop off stations set up at Cottell and Fleckenstein parks, as well as Landen-Deerfield Park. We also have barrels for Christmas light recycling at our administrative office (4900 Parkway Dr, Suite 150) and Fire Station 57 until 1/31.

Please call (513)701-6958 with questions or email parksinfo@deerfieldtwp.com.

**SNYDER HOUSE CLOSED**

The recent frigid temps caused a headache for a lot of people, and unfortunately the Parks Department did not escape unscathed. Water lines burst in the Snyder House at Cottell Park causing the ceiling to collapse in several areas. The Snyder House will be CLOSED for restoration work until March 1st. All rentals have been canceled and programming relocated to other township buildings. Please call (513)701-6958 or email parksinfo@deerfieldtwp with any questions or concerns. Hopefully Mother Nature gives us a break in 2023!
