Earth Day Celebration Luncheon
Sunday, April 22 | 12:00pm | Fellowship Hall
The Sustainability Seekers invite you to celebrate Earth Day 2018 by attending an Eco-friendly luncheon. A variety of homemade vegetarian lasagnas will be served along with salad, rolls and dessert. The event will be both paperless and meatless. Forgoing meat even one day a week can have a positive environmental impact, not to mention the potential health benefits of a more plant-based diet. Parkway vegetarians will be available to answer questions or share recipes.
Tickets will be $10 for adults, $5 for children age 6-12, with 5 and under free. The goal is to COMPLETE fund raising so that we can soon install a dishwasher in the fellowship area and switch to mug use. Help us live into the United Church of Christ's commitment to the Three Loves, one of which is caring for Creation. Tickets can be purchased at the Fair Trade products table between services.
