Strut Your Mutt- NYC!
Saturday, October 7, 2017
Registration: 9:00 am | Walk: 10:00 am | End: 2:00 pm
Hudson River Park's Pier 26
New York City, NY

New Yorkers really outdid themselves at the 2016 Strut Your Mutt, raising nearly $375,000 for homeless pets in the city. And this year, the animals are counting on you for even more support.
On Saturday, October 7, while everyone is strutting their stuff, we'll also be hosting an adoption event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to help animals affected by the recent hurricanes in the south.
During the storms, many homeless pets already in shelters in the affected areas were evacuated to safety in New York and other areas. And we want to help them find the loving homes they deserve, so join us for this special adoption event during Strut Your Mutt, and help spread the word on behalf of our friends from the south.
Strut, raise funds, adopt and help save lives in New York City and beyond! For more info click here.

Please say hello to Rome - our 5 year old boy who came to us as an owner surrender. Rome was purchased as a puppy, from a breeder, and now finds himself homeless and in need of a new home. Rome bonds very quickly to one person. He is a happy, happy dog who loves to play with toys. He is looking for an adult only, savvy home and he must be the only pet.

Meet Avery, a young female cat who's been here 921 days waiting for her forever home. She loves the feather toys and the laser beams. And you might think she's trying to topple you over with all her figure 8s around your legs, but all she's trying to do is mark you as hers. She knows that one of these times she's going to mark that special person that is meant to be all hers. Is it you? We'd love to see Avery in a home before her 1,000th day here happens.

Marshall is an URGENT need of a home. His is extremely stressed in his case.

Outside of his kennel, he is a great boy who LOVES people and enjoys being outside. Marshall is about 4 years old and is currently missing a lot of hair on his back and underarms which appears to be stress related as all his bloodwork came back normal.
Marshall would prefer to be the only animal in the home. If you're looking for your one and only, please consider Marshall. We are VERY open to rescues pulling this boy for foster care.
