How are the candidates chosen?
Candidates for elected positions in the Society are recommended by the Nominating Committee, which is composed of the Past President, Past President Once Removed and seven members at large appointed by the President Elect and approved by the Board of Directors.
Who can vote?
Voting members include Senior and Full Members as well as International and Associate Members who joined the Society prior to 2010. Candidate and Fellow-in-Training Members are eligible to vote for their respective representatives.
How do I vote? Your personal link to vote in the SGO 2013 Election will be sent from noreply@directvote.net on January 7, 2013. To ensure that you receive your personal link to the ballot, add this sender to your "safe senders" lists. Reminders to vote will be sent periodically. The election closes on Feb. 7, 2013.
