Operation Motorsport, a provider of recovery and rehabilitation programs and opportunities to ill and injured service members and disabled veterans, today announced an exciting new partnership with TWOth Autosport, specializing in motorsport management and supporting clients in the sportscar racing industry. The alliance positions TWOth Autosport as the official
Motorsport Operations Partner
of the not-for-profit, with the trusteeship of providing all facets of the racing operations. The goal through 2018 is to grow a TWOth/Operation Motorsport ChampCar series entry that is fully supported by Operation Motorsport beneficiaries.
In July 2017, Operation Motorsport launched to become the North American providers of adaptive motorsport, seeking wherever possible to merge the activities of the disabled and those in need with able bodied servicemen and women. With a four-year growth plan, Operation Motorsport will provide recovery, rehabilitation, vocational support and training to those affected by military operations within the framework of Motorsport.
November 2018, Operation Motorsport will join forces with TWOth Autosport and Mission Motorsport in a collaborative effort to field a two car, multi-national entry (Canada / USA / UK) in the 2018
Race of Remembrance
at Circuit Anglesey, Wales, UK. There, a number of disabled veterans and serving soldier beneficiaries, as part of "Team Canada" and "Team USA", will compete as crew, drivers, and support staff throughout the 12 hour race.
