Feeling stressed or blue this holiday season? Try going on a hike! If you're like me, you know from experience that a walk outdoors can improve your mood. Now there's proof according to a
study done by Stanford researchers.
I wish you all the best this holiday season, and hope you take the time to enjoy the beauty of our outdoor winter in Solano County.

Mix humor and stir
What is your favorite part of the holidays? Is it making Christmas candy with girlfriends and making old family recipes?
Nicole loves to dust off the recipe book compiled by her Grandma Dorothy and friends. Dorothy (or Toad, as her friends called her due to a shock of blonde hair) grew up on a farm in Texas, and had a way with words and a wicked sense of humor.
Here is "A Working Mom's Chicken Dinner," a recipe that works just as well during the holidays, and one you won't soon forget.
Kick off the New Year on the right (then left) foot and join us for a hike at Rockville Trails. Climb steep hills, breathe fresh air, and enjoy the winter views of Suisun and Green Valleys. On a clear day you can see the Sierras!
