Dear NPC Youth, Parents, & Friends,
I hope this message finds everyone well and enjoying a great week so far! Here’s the “scoop” for the third week of February!! PLEASE READ TO THE VERY BOTTOM!!

First, some words of THANKS!

YOUTH SUNDAY weekend
...
... at the Lock-In
- for the hard work put in by everyone (both youth and adults) to get ready to lead worship on Sunday;
- for the adults who stayed the night;
- for the Girard family who provided a yummy dinner;
- and much more!
... on Sunday morning
- for the amazing and awesome job everyone did in leading worship (all small groups, the seniors, Spencer on the guitar, and more);
- to Mary Ann Cronley for coordinating a wonderful breakfast spread;
- and for the energy and excitement that was shared by all

2017 Summer Trip Schedule
I NEED TO KNOW WHO IS GOING ON WHICH TRIPS!
PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!
- ALL-YOUTH MISSION TRIP to CHARLOTTE ~ COST PER PERSON = $350.00 — Sunday, June 25 — Friday, June 30; for ALL NPC YOUTH (current 6th-12th grade) — we will serve the Charlotte community through the CONNECT mission program at Avondale Presbyterian Church! For more info please visit their website CONNECT ministry (for a similar cost, this trip replaces City Dive)
- MONTREAT YOUTH CONFERENCE ~ COST PER PERSON = $400.00 — Saturday, July 8 — Saturday, July 15; theme = “A Missing Peace”; for youth who will have completed 8th-12th grades by next summer (our very own Galvin Day is on the planning team!)
- MIDDLE SCHOOL CONFERENCE @ MARYVILLE COLLEGE ~ COST PER PERSON = $450.00 — Wednesday, July 19 — Sunday, July 23; theme = “Hope is Happening”; for youth who will have completed grades 5th-8th by next summer (our very own Eric Thompson is on the planning team!)

PLEASE NOTE:
- Current 8th graders … you have the option to attend Middle School Conference @ Maryville one last time, or you can attend the high school conference @ Montreat … or you can do both (technically)!
- Current 5th graders … you are invited to attend your first youth conference at Maryville College in Maryville, TN! It’s not a full week — just a Wednesday through a Sunday morning … you won’t regret going!!! I promise!!
SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE FOR ALL TRIPS UPON REQUEST!!!
PLEASE CONTACT ME IF YOU QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS!!!!
PLEASE BEGIN LETTING ME KNOW WHO IS PLANNING TO ATTEND THESE TRIPS!!!
A $100.00 deposit is appreciated so that I can count on your commitment.
You can even pay monthly if you prefer to avoid a lump-sum payment.

and I hope to have great groups going on all these trips with me this coming summer!!!
Also, so that it’s on your calendar, too … Northminster’s 2017 VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL is scheduled for the last week of July … Monday, July 24 — Friday, July 28! We will need “all hands on deck” from the youth group to help out and make our 2017 VBS super awesome!!

SLINGSHOT ENTERTAINMENT

YOUTH CHOIR FOLLOWING 11:15am WORSHIP on this day!!
12:15-5:00pm (includes lunch and event—departing church @ 1:15pm for Slingshot Entertainment)
