The site has some reflections and remembrances from clergy who ministered to victims and their families, and others who were impacted by the tragedy. Also provides liturgical resources for parish and diocesan observances and links to bishops' statements and other materials for reading and reflection. The resources are available in English and Spanish. We encourage you to visit the site and to use these resources if you are planning any special event for this ocassion. |
FRIENDS OF THE POOR WALK
Please join St. Vincent de Paul again this year for the annual Friends of the Poor Walk. In North Pinellas, our seven church conferences, the Thrift Store and the Soup Kitchen in Clearwater, provide food, clothing and financial assistance to the poor and the homeless.
The Walk will be held at Philippe Park, Safety Harbor, on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 9:00 am, starting at shelter number 7. Participants will receive a tee shirt and hot dogs will be served. Thank you for your support.
