Patterson Library Friends to

Sell Collectible Ornaments

 

On December 13th the Patterson Library Friends will be selling Christopher Radko holiday ornaments at deep discounts! The beautiful European glass ornaments will be sold in the caf� beginning at 1:30 PM. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the PL Friends which help support special library projects and programs.

Tasty Tips for Eating Healthy*

Make 2015 the year you get healthy with great information and tips from registered Dietitian and certified Nutritionist Amanda Montalvo. Learn how to eat a healthy balanced diet and improve your health with facts, recipes and a cooking demonstration to give you the tools you need to get you started. We will demystify myths about fats and carbs, teach you how to eat healthy at home, work or when you're out, and answer any nutrition questions you may have. Registration required.

Traveling Route 6

Travel Route 6 from Cape Cod to California with author Joe Hurley. Hear fascinating stories and see riveting pictures of the people he met and places he saw on his journey along America's longest highway. Don't miss this exclusive behind the scenes look at his book Ten Million Steps on Route 6.

For grades K - 2. Join art teacher Julie Spagnolo from Mizzentop Day School for a creative and fun 3-part art series.

Elsa from Frozen will read a story, do a sing along and braid your hair just like hers while Frozen plays on our big screen.

Mondays   January 5, 12 & 26  4:30 PM  

 

For ages 8 and up. Kids will explore Minecraft, the creative building game, with an experienced Minecraft Administrator/Instructor. PLEASE ADD IN THE "NOTES" SECTION OF REGISTRATION IF YOUR CHILD HAS THEIR OWN MINECRAFT ACCOUNT.

Enjoy an afternoon of music and cheer with the Danbury Mad Hatter Chorus! This men's chorus group will wow you with their a cappella renditions of your favorite holiday songs. Registration Required.

 

Wednesday or Thursday   December 17 or 18   4:30 PM 

For all ages. Come make a gingerbread house, drink hot cocoa, and hear some great music. Children under 5 must be accompanied by an adult. If you like you can bring a bag of your favorite candy to share. Registration Required.
