Client Testimonial
Paul was the best realtor we have used. Beyond the great services he provided in our home purchase, Paul went far above and beyond. Our house backed to an open area with nice tall evergreens. This area was to be developed. He contacted the City and actually made a copy of the project plans and how it would affect us. Most importantly he found out they were to save the existing trees. Also, the selling agent tried to back out of our contract because they recieved a higher bid a day after. Paul contacted his company's attorney and fought the seller in violation of our contract. We had no idea this was possible and he could have simply told us that we lost the house.

Welcome to the May  edition of the 2016 Denver Real Estate Market Newsletter.

SHOUT OUT TO LONE TREE POLICE

A special thank you to friend, real estate client and Lone Tree police officer, Officer Goudy for inviting me to participate in Lone Tree's Citizen Ride-Along Program.  We spent the morning serving and protecting in the City of Lone Tree.

The highlight of my tour of duty was helping to pull over one of my good friends for a burned-out tail light.  I suggested to Officer Goudy that we make an arrest due to the severity of the infraction, but he was in a very generous mood and let her off with just a warning.

On a more serious note, I'm incredibly grateful to all police officers who willingly risk their lives every day.  Each time Officer Goudy pulled over a vehicle and exited the squad car to approach the driver, it was scary and tense.  There was no way to know if the driver would be calm and cooperative or do something crazy.  You don't realize how dangerous their profession really is until you watch an officer in action.

Nearly every police department has a citizen ride-along program. I strongly encourage you to give it a try.  In addition to learning about crime and crime prevention inside the city, I developed a whole new appreciation for those who have dedicated themselves to serve and protect.  Thank you Officer Goudy!
