Spring Cleaning!
Spring cleaning. It sounds like a great idea, but when you get started it can become a little overwhelming. But it doesn't have to be! If you start with a plan or a checklist of what you want to get done it can help you get and stay on track. I found this great article on www.housebeautiful.com of the 20 Things You Should Deep Clean This Spring. It's really a great list for inside the house - I'm inspired to get some things done.
If your spring cleaning might also involve more outside work, maybe a side yard that gets used too often for all the wrong reasons, or a garage that needs to be gone through, consider a Bagster and, as they say, "Discover the Joy of Gone." They are available at our Scottsdale & McDowell, Fountain Hills and Via Linda locations OR we will be happy to get them to your favorite Paul's location for you, just ask!

Weeds!
There are several products that work well depending on how you prefer to apply product and where it is being applied. If you are ahead of the curve and haven't seen any unwelcome green in your gravel, driveways, sidewalks or around established trees and bushes, you can start with a pre-emergent like Weed Impede (SKU 7201957). It comes in a liquid concentrate and is a 2-in-1 so it works as both a pre and post emergent - very handy to have, but not to be used to prevent weeds in your lawn. For that I would suggest Scotts Turf Builder Weed and Feed All Seasons (SKU
7430952) It's a granular product that can be applied on a wet lawn in late spring when weeds are actively growing. These are just two of the many products that you can find at Paul's and can be used, and there are several other products that work just as well. Come in and see our Lawn & Garden Experts for more advice.

- "Paul's Progress" got it's name in homage of my first job (outside of coming to work with my Dad) delivering "Scottsdale Progress" newspapers when I was 10 or so.
- Over 20% of our Paul's Family Members have been with us for over 10 years. Our longest term Family Member has been with us over 30 years.
- Our longest term customer is most likely Don Havrenek. He still shops us regularly and I hear from him every year around our Anniversary Sale. He's been shopping with us since 1957 and came from Illinois around where my grandpa Paul came from.
