PAVERPOL  & ART STONE  ....

ROSALIE LEVI (QC) gave us a  GREAT  TIP

Most often we would take a container of Paverpol and add Art Stone to the Paverpol and start mixing.

Rosali did it the other way around and wrote to us:

"I mixed Paverpol into the Art Stone little bit at a time and mixed. It was neat, fast and easy.  What a difference, and less waste.

I also used the clay mixture in the face mould, a thin spray of Pam first, wiped it, pressed a piece of powdered clay into the face, thin layer, and pressed a styrofoam egg, brushed a bit with Paverpol, into the clay in the mould. Pulled it out together, no waiting, and placed on a stick to dry."

Have you never used Art Stone? It is a paper pulp that when mixed with Paverpol can be used for applying texture to an object, make clay from it or use it as a flexible medium for sculpting.

WORKING WITH PUSH MOULDS

Using push moulds can be very helpful if you want to give your sculpture a 'real face' but you don't really want to sculpt one. Watch the video tutorial and discover how easy it can be!
