    Kindred Spirit Club:

    This is a 6 month club
    featuring fabrics from Windham Farics and Jill Shaulis.
    Patterns from Yellow Creek Quilt Designs.


    This club features fabric from Windham Fabrics  that has a great Civil War Reproduction look. The projects are small so you can easily keep up. We welcome Club members to come in and sew with Jean & Carol each month, stop in and pick up your kit or have us mail it out to you. Two of the month's patterns feature different sizes. You can select which you'd like to make. 
    Your original commitment is for 6 months, but they will be expanding the fabric selections and offering more patterns to continue the club into the future.

    These classes are open to anyone who owns a Janome.  Each month we explore a foot or technique specific to our Janomes.  This has been a hugely successful class.  New comers are welcome!

    Progressive I

    This has been another very popular class.  Unfortunately we have not been able to offer any for awhile.
    This class is designed for the person who wants to learn and refine their piecing skills and techniques.
    Progressive I is planned for the student who has taken a beginning quilt class and wants to grow.  I offer very specialized attention and plan the class around the student's skill levels and interests!

    Skills:  Slightly more advanced blocks
    On-Point setting of blocks
    Working with a quilt vs. table runner
    Refresher of beginning themes

    Progressive 5 Class: 
    Log Cabin Quilt

    No image because we will be designing our own quilts!
    We will be using the Creative Grid Log Cabin Trim Tool Two.
    This is another Progressive class that is designed to accommodate the skill level of the students.  We will be designing our own individual quilts, fabric requirements, etc...

    Beginning Quilting

    This is a very thorough class to teach you how to piece and quilt.  When class is completed you will have a completed project and will have learned many skills and had fun!



    Beginning Free Motion Quilting
    2 Sessions

    September 24: 2-5 "hands on"

    This class is designed for the quilter who would like to begin to quilt their own quilts!  I teach trouble shooting for your machine and then a day of hands on exercises to learn this wonderful quilting technique!

      








































    Hunter's Star

    This phenomenal quilt is made with the Rapid Fire Ruler.  As many of you know, I like rulers that have many options for use.  With this ruler there are so many variations of the Hunter's Star that can be created!

    Sew Together Bag

    This bag class is popular.  Do not let the zippers put you off!!  Joanne will teach you a "fear free" method for zippers!

    Machine Embroidery Class

    Pine Berries

    This quilt is just stunning.  Barb's sample is not pictured. I am not really biased, but Barb's version is so much more spectacular.
    The six embroidery blocks are just indescribable.
    The classes will be cutting and block assembly and then hand embroidery techniques to complete the wreaths.

    Crazy Stitch Class

    2 Weekly Sessions

    This is also a reschedule from the summer.  Come and learn to create hand crazy stitches with Angie!
    She always attempts to accommodate the skill level of each student.  Consequently there is limited seating.

    Farmer's Window

    This is a rescheduled class from the summer.  This is a Judy Neimeyer design.  If you have wanted to try one of her quilts, this is not intimidating, to begin with this table runner.  Mom is an excellent paper piecing teacher, so if you have wanted to learn paper piecing, this is the class for you as well!!

    Innovative Applique Class

    This technique can be completed on sewing machine or by hand!
    Remove the learning curve of appliqué with this new technique developed by Becky Campbell. This new method does not require needle turn or ripping out freezer paper from the back side and eliminates the tedious work of hand appliqué. 
    It's much easier yet gives precise results.

    We are so pleased to have Becky Campbell from Columbus Ohio with us for the day.   She is going to be teaching her original applique technique using one of her own designs.   Plant Your Own Garden is a collection of blocks, for class, Becky will  be teaching from the pictured block, Patti.
