SAVE THE DATE FOR WHAT?
Wow..we really started a buzz!  We have had more emails and phone calls than we can handle asking for details.  And no, we did not accidentally forget to add them...we just wanted to get your attention!!

GIVING TUESDAY is a global day of giving support to 501(c)3organizations like St. Luke's.  This year, Giving Tuesday falls on November 29th.    WHY GIVING TUESDAY? Thanksgiving is a day for celebrating thankfulness, Black Friday and Cyber Monday are for fabulous shopping deals, and Giving Tuesday is a day for supporting organizations that make a difference in your life.

Our goal is to increase our MOAF parent participation rate 24% by midnight on the 29th. If you have not already made a donation to the Mother Oak Annual Fund we need your support so that we can continue to make a difference.  Donations may be made online or mailed to SLES Development Office, 1400 S. University Blvd., Mobile, AL, 36609.  Any donation received between now and the end of day on the 29th will be counted toward our goal.

ANOTHER BOOSTERTHON IS IN THE BOOKS
A HUGE thank you to all of the students, parents, teachers, grandparents, friends and family who made this year's Boosterthon a success!  It was pretty obvious from the youngest to the oldest that everyone had a great time!  Our 4th and 5th graders loved the new color run concept as well (as you can see by the pictures)!  Special thanks to our volunteers who made sure the kids stayed well hydrated and who volunteered to get a little "colored" themselves in order to ensure our kids had a great time!

We exceeded last year's pledges!!  As soon as we have our final numbers we will let you know what an awesome job our students did (and you too, because we KNOW you helped) and who gets to participate in our class/top fundraiser events.
