  I f you haven't purchased your 2017 Cash Bash ticket you need to remember to do that! You will want to be a part of this great evening!  We'll be sending a schoolcast on Monday with ALL of the details but here is what you need to know now...
  • You can purchase your Cash Bash ticket online!  Use the purchase now button below. Of course, you can always fill out the form and send it in if that is more convenient for you!  Download a ticket order form here. The Japonica Campus class that sells the most tickets wins a PIZZA PARTY and University Campus students who sell a ticket get an OUT of UNIFORM day. 


  •  T-shirts are now available for purchase.  Any  student purchasing a  t-shirt will be permitted to  wear it on Friday, April 7th. The cost is $15.  Completed order form/payment is due Thursday,  March 16th.  Download the t-shirt order form here.

2017 NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY INDUCTEES
Congratulations to the newest members of the St. Luke's Chapter of  t he National Honor Society.  In addition to meeting the high academic standards required these students also met the highest of leadership, service and character standards.  

Th e new members are:  
Nolan Baxter, Kevin Parden, Macinley Chastain, Jeremy Daniel, Kellan Hensley, Kaelyn Horn, Zach McCleery, Bailey Sheffield, Natalie Bonner, Isabelle Nguyen, Katie DeArmon, Caroline Knoll, Matthew Mowry, Nicholas Myers, Madison Hoke, Elizabeth Thompson, Cole Murphy, William Brandyburg, Tristan Clark, Carson Ashcraft, Lincoln Hammons, Graham Driskell, Hardy Demeranville and Chase Jordan (not pictured). 
BOYS and GIRLS STATE NOMINEES
Congratulations to William Brandyburg and Lincoln Hammons who have been nominated to attend 2017 Boys State and to Katie DeArmon who has been nominated to attend 2017 Girls State.  Both Boys and Girls State are held at The University of Alabama in June.
 
Students from across the state are chosen based on their demonstration of leadership, hard work, strong morals, and motivation in school and community activities. The student delegates  participate in a mock government, meet Congressmen, state officials, and business and civic leaders and  spend the week  becoming knowledgeable of the democratic process and how our republic form of government works at the state and national levels. 


NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC BEE
Congratulations to Connor Ferguson who won the school's Geography Bee and was required to pass the state qualifying exam in order to compete at the next level.  Connor has passed the exam and will be competing at the State National Geographic Bee in April. GOOD LUCK CONNOR!

 ACADEMIC TEAMS GOING STRONG 
HiQ
Congratulations to our HiQ Team!  This academic team comprised of juniors and seniors earned enough points during regular season competition to compete at the City Meet!   

SCHOLARS BOWL Our Middle School Scholars Bowl team has had a fantastic season and will be competing in the Bay Area Scholastic Competition Super Round  next week. They will compete against 20 other area teams at the University of Mobile. 

 

K2-5th GRADE YEARBOOK ORDER FORMS DUE MARCH 24
If you have a student in K2-5th grade this year and want to  order  a 2016- 2107 yearbook, please complete and return the  order form  with payment or place the  order  online at   jostensyearbooks.com .  The deadline to  order  is March 24, 2017.
CAMP WILDCAT REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN
Registration is open for Camp Wildcat, a fun-filled day camp for children in rising grades PK3 - 6th. The  Junior Camp serves children ages 3 through 5 (rising K3, K4 and K5), and the Senior Camp serves rising 1st through 6th graders. Weekly themes provide exciting activities and enrichment classes include library, computer, science, Spanish, and art.   J unior campers enjoy on-site activities,  senior campers attend field trips and swim once a week. "Water Slide Wednesdays" are always a hit and everyone gets to participate! Camp Wildcat is open to anyone... spread the word to family, friends and co-workers!  REGISTRATION FORM AND DETAILED INFO may also be downloaded from the front page of the school's website.

IT IS SPRING !!  The annual Band Spring Fern Sale is now underway and you can order big, beautiful Boston, Kimberly or Asparagus ferns for your home or business.  
YOU WILL NOT BE DISA PPOINTED!

MOTHER OAK ANNUAL FUND UPDATE
We continue to move toward reaching our MOAF goal of $100,000. If you haven't pledged or donated yet, please make your pledge or donation as soon as possible and help us reach our goal!



CONDOLENCES
The St. Luke's community would like to express our condolences to the family of Ethel Catranis.  Mrs. Catranis served as a member of the St. Luke's Episcopal School Board of Trustees during the 1970's.

ATHLETICS
CHEERLEADING TRYOUTS

The Cheerleading  Tryout Clinic will be held March 14th, 15th & 16th from  3:30 - 5:00 in the gym.   Tryouts will be held March 17th at 3:45  pm in the gym.

MOBILE AREA YOUTH TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIP
St. Luke's University Campus will be hosting the Mobile Area Youth Track and Field Championships on Saturday, March 18th from 8-12.  We invite you to come out and cheer on our St. Luke's runners! RUN WILDCATS RUN

Congratulations to our boys and girls soccer teams (of all ages) who defeated Mobile Christian this week!!
