THE OFFICIAL WILDCAT HAND SYMBOL...what???
That's right...several years ago our Student Ambassadors started using this hand symbol and it is taking off!   It's the official Wildcat hand symbol.

Our Student Ambassadors are working on a special video project and need plenty of photos of our students, families, faculty and staff "flashing the WC".  Get creative (just like these guys did) and send us your best shots from sporting events, meetings,  classroom activities, playground..anything!

Being a Wildcat is a "family" thing...
we want parents/grandparents in some of the photos too!  Send photos to jhammons@stlukesmobile.com by May 1st.

Here's how you make the "WC":  using your right hand (so that people looking at it can see the letters in correct order), make an "OK" sign but adjust your thumb and index finger into a "c" instead of an "o" .  That's all there is to it!  "WC" says it all!

MAKING MUSIC AND GOING PLACES
The St. Luke's Jazz Band attended the University of Mobile's Jazz Fest Thursday and represented St. Luke's well even though the flu has claimed several of its members! Band members heard some fantastic bands perform and were inspired by the incredible music.

Next week the Wildcat Band will be taking their Spring Band Trip and will travel to North Georgia performing everywhere from nursing homes to Stone Mountain Park. Wish them well as they represent St. Luke's to the North Georgia area.

Thank you to all of the students, parents, faculty, staff and community members who participated in this year's BioMed Blood Drive.
           We exceeded our goal!
