zSpace provides experiences and the medium to support instruction and students' learning and curiosity. Students learn by asking questions, gathering information, developing models, testing ideas, analyzing data, and developing conclusions. Naviance Inventory Program

Naviance is a college readiness program that St. Luke's uses in the Upper School. Its purpose is to help connect academic achievement to post secondary goals. One component of the program is the career interest profiler. It allows students to complete a 180 question inventory which will analyze their own interests and pair the results with potential career matches. It will also give them a list of colleges which offer degrees in those careers.

We hope to use this information to plan a career night in the spring.

Band Member Spotlight

Rush Watson, an 8th grade Wildcat Band member, was selected as an alternate trumpet player for our
District VII Honor Band.

In order to pass auditions, students must learn a minimum of 5 major scales and related arpeggios, perform sight reading, and prepare a lyrical and technical etude to play for a judge.  The top students in our district are selected to be part of honor band clinic to be held in March.

Congratulations Rush!
