Code Compliance Corner

Water conservation is a year-round practice currently stepped up to a new level due to drought conditions with a mandatory Stage 1 Drought Watering Restrictions schedule. The goal is to reduce water usage in the City of Arlington by 5% or more.

Effective Monday, August 29, 2011 Arlington residents and business owners must comply with the schedule of watering lawns and landscape beds only on designated days and times. When watering on assigned days, property owners must continue to comply with the ordinance of watering before 10  a.m. and after 6 p.m. It is unlawful for any person to irrigate or water, or cause the irrigation or watering of any lawn or landscape between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. any day of the week.

Think smart and do your part:  Follow the Stage 1 Drought Watering Restrictions schedule and continue to nix watering between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.   Read more.
