Philippians 4:7 (KJV)
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Life is a series of continuing DECISIONS!!!
What to eat, what to wear, what to do, how to do it, where to go or not, what time is it, what does the future hold and will I ever regain my figure?????
I was forced to make a major decision the last few weeks and I even fasted several days as I "sought the WISDOM of the Lord."
James 1:5 (KJV)
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
Truly, I greatly desired the WISDOM of God!!!

Don't make a permanent decision based on temporary emotions."
I believe God can and does still speak!
The problem is that WE fail to hear or heed and/or act.
James 1:6-8 (KJV)
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
I felt "led of the Lord" to apply a Biblical Principle:
Proverbs 11:14 (KJV)
14 Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.
Proverbs 24:6 (KJV)
6 For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety.
I PRAYED hard and chose five people-ordained and anointed men of God whom I greatly respect and trust their ability to communicate with the Lord.
I carefully laid out my dilemma and asked what they believed God was saying.
I fully expected that all five of them would all reach the same conclusion.
The first man answered exactly what I felt would be the consensus of all.
The second man was adamant in the opposite as he carefully explained his counsel.
Shockingly, the next two men joined the second man and now the score was 3-1 in the negative.
The last counselor made the score 3-2, but in closing advised me "that I would KNOW/have the PEACE of God," whatever MY DECISION would be!
In the end, beloved, counsel is necessary, BUT the one receiving the COUNSEL must live with its consequences!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

Oftentimes, in this life, the wisdom and direction received of the Lord in PRAYER and/or by counsel collide with our human understanding.
Can you imagine the professional fishermen, having toiled all night and caught nothing?
When they encountered Jesus the next morning, He told them to simply cast their nets on the opposite side of the boat!!!
Or the ABSURDITY of the little boy sharing his meager meal of 5 loaves and two fishes:
John 6:9 (KJV)
9 There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?
We do NOT have to understand God but must OBEY God.
1 Corinthians 3:13 (KJV)
13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
The only way " TO KNOW" is to "FOLLOW ON THE KNOW THE LORD!!!"
Hosea 6:3 (KJV)
3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
