As I was leaving a delightful lunch date today, the last topic my dear friend and I discussed was THANKFULNESS-BEING THANKFUL!

Last night, I was pleasantly surprised to discover a post on FB of pictures of an ANCIENT letter and STAMPED envelope dated sometime in 1951-65 plus years ago!
The picture of myself as a baby-crying and whining- was depicted as well as a picture of my YOUNG mother and copy of her HAND-WRITTEN birth announcement.
We don't know/understand/appreciate "how lucky we are, boy!!!!"
WOW! Can you even imagine announcing such great news today via snail-mail!!!
Today, we can INSTANTLY show major events in our lives via all kinds of various apps!!!
TWITTER, SNAP CHAT, FACEBOOK, TEXT, EMAIL-the list goes on and on!!!
TODAY, people are living longer and better than ever before-especially those who "LET the peace of God rule in your hearts!!!

Does not our God PROMISE us:

3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
David boldly declared to "MARK the perfect man and behold the upright......."
Psalm 37:37 (KJV)
37 Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.
WHY? Because the "END of that man is PEACE!!!"
And is it not PEACE that we all seek????
PEACE is the exact opposite of STRESS!!!
Perhaps it is high time that WE cease singing about "PEACE IN THE VALLEY SOMEDAY" and enjoy this PEACE now!!??
