5th Sunday Prayer Time Sunday, April 29

Please join us in the Great Room at 9:30 am on April 29  for a congregation-wide time of prayer. We will look at several prayers in Scripture to see what we can learn about the person praying, their prayer, ourselves and God. And then immediately apply those lessons in prayer with each other.

Guest Artists at Peace May 13

Special Guest Artists at Peace May 13
Our Mother's Day Worship will feature special music from Dave Anderson and Roger Walck. Many of you know Dave Anderson, who has performed over 5,000 concerts in the U.S. and 17 other countries around the world. Dave & Roger will lead us in singing gospel songs, contemporary worship songs, and hymns. Dave will also tell "The Rescue Story," about how he, wife Barb, and their team survived when their plane lost two engines, fell 3500 feet in
3 ½ minutes, and crashed into the Bering Sea!
Come and hear "the rest of the story" at 8:30 and 10:30 am on Sunday May 13.
Thank You From CareNet

Thank you to everyone who participated in our recent Coins for CareNet fundraiser. The total given through the baby bottles at Peace Church was $908.68 ! The moms and babies of CareNet are so appreciative of the blessed support that you give them and their families.

It's VBS Time!

Registration begins May 1 and we are calling ALL volunteers!  We can always use lots of help for our Vacation Bible School coming  June 18-22! From crew leading to helping with crafts or games; hands on with kids or behind the scenes, there is something for everyone.

Sign up in the Lobby  this Sunday and see how you can support this outreach ministry to the children in our community.  We are also forming a decorating team! Talk with Katherine on how you can lend a hand.  For more information, contact Katherine Richards,
Director of Family Ministry ([email protected].
Update On LWML Spring Rally

LWML celebrated its annual Spring Rally for Zone 6 churches on Saturday, April 21. Ten churches sent their delegates to enjoy fellowship, review of Zone 6 news, and a very informative presentation from Deaconess Kris Blackwell from Voice of Care .

Festive table decorations were created by Ruth Winter, Zone 6 Treasurer and Recording Secretary. Everyone enjoyed a delicious breakfast provided by Peace Members, Mark and Rebecca Ross.
LWML will gather together on
Monday May 7 at 7:00 p.m.  to discuss upcoming projects and to continue working on no-sew blankets for World Relief.
Please contact Nancy Ewert if you are interested in attending.
She can be reached via e-mail:

Grasp the opportunities God provides to
"Change Lives with
The Love of Jesus"  wherever it is needed, around the globe or across the street!
to read stories of how people are
"Living The Love"!
