January Worship & Sermon Series

We are kicking off a new year with a new sermon series, Our Family Tree.  Pastor Marty will be preaching on key people in Jesus' lineage and how we are part of God's family.  All sermons are recorded and can be listened to online.

Our mission focus for the month of January is DuPage PADS.  Stop by the lobby on Sunday mornings this month to learn more about this important service for our community's homeless and how you can support this ministry.  You may learn more about this important ministry by visiting website at www.dupagepads.org
Sunday Education Hour - 9:30 to 10:20 am
There's something for all ages during our Sunday school/Education Hour for Preschool children thru Adults!  Nursery is available for children 2 years and under.

Pastor's Study

Join Pastor Marty in the Great Room for an in depth study into the Gospel of Matthew.  Explore the life of Jesus through the words of His disciple, Matthew.  The birth of Jesus, His ministry, and relationships with His followers... These are just a few of the jewels we will unearth when we dig into the first book of the New Testament.

Adult Education Study - January
"Why Do You Believe That?"
This 4-part series is based on the book
"
Why Do You Believe That? A Faith Conversation " by Mary Jo Sharp, a former atheist and now Christian author and apologetics instructor.  Each week, we will look at topics such as: foundational beliefs, how Christianity compares to other religions, how Jesus used reasoning in the Bible to talk to unbelievers, and how the story of Jesus has been reliably transmitted 2000 thousand years later.  This series will definitely come with some great discussion time.  It's an opportunity for all of us to understand
why we can be confident in our faith conversations with others about the truth of Jesus and who He is.
For more information, contact Katherine Richards about this offering and other offerings during our Education Hour.
