And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts...
Can you imagine? Your every moment. Your every thought. Your every emotion. Ruled by peace.
What would that look like? Your every moment ruled by peace? The meeting at work. The conversation with your spouse. The wait in traffic or the wait for the physician.
Your heart, your mind, your very existence ruled by peace. The peace that only Jesus can give. The peace that surpasses human understanding. The peace that looks foolish to man. The peace that comes from believing, truly believing, that God, your Father, your Papa, your Daddy loves you. That He has you. That He holds your future and He holds your hand.
I encourage us all today to begin to imagine a heart, a mind, a life ruled by the peace of Christ Jesus.
Take a moment and picture it.
Then ask Papa God, "What's holding me back? What's holding me back from truly trusting you, my God?"
And He will answer.
It may be in a moment. It may be through a person or a song or a picture or a word. But God, your God, will answer. Why? Because He loves you. And He wants you to be at peace.
I am leaving you with a gift - peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don't be troubled or afraid. John 14:27 NLT
