As schools across the nation return from summer break, many face new regulations regarding recess. Parents have joined together to have daily recess reinstated in many schools recognizing the many benefits of recess to learning and overall well being.
What many schools won't do however, is change recess for the better. It just takes a short period of time to improve the recess environment through painted games and markings.
