People's Climate March
Sunday -

Important Updates For CUC Joining the March:
  • Rev. Meredith Garmon and a number of others are taking the train to Grand Central. Leaving on the 9:02 am train from N. White Plains (Metro North Harlem Line), which arrives at 9:43 am. (Some are getting on same train along same route to arrive together at 9:43 am.)
  • If not that train, meet UUs at the staging area (58th between 8th and 9th - access from 9th Ave) at 10:30.
  • From Grand Central, take the S & 1 to Columbus Circle: The Columbus Circle subway stop WILL BE OPEN on Sunday, but you will not be able to enter the assembly area from the 8th Avenue side. If you get off the subway at Columbus Circle, you'll need to walk west (on 57th or 59th Street) to 9th Avenue, where you can enter the assembly area.
  • All are welcome to join on 58th Street for a pre-March multi-faith prayer and invocation service, sponsored by GreenFaith and OurVoices.net, beginning at 11:00 am. 
  • If skipping the 11:00 am event, join in same staging location for March beginning sometime between noon and 1 pm.
  • Or if you're late, wait at NE corner of 44th and 6th Avenue sometime after 1:00 - Wait there till you see the UU standing on the side of love banner.
