Teams from around Illinois duke it out in the IHSA Boys Basketball 3A-4A State Finals - the original March Madness! Four teams travel to Peoria - only two go home as State Champions!

Finalists from the television phenomenon American Idol join the HFO performing songs from the world of Jazz, Rock, Broadway, Country and Pop.  This spectacularly entertaining evening features a number of great orchestra hits!

SPRING FLING CRAFT AND VENDOR FAIR

The 7th Annual Spring Fling Craft & Vendor Fair is a fundraising event for Totes for Ta-Tas/Illinois CancerCare Foundation's Breast Cancer Research Fund. Shop over 50 tables full of goodies from area crafters & vendors. There is something for everyone, including a great bake sale!

ICC MUSIC PRESENTS JAZZ TRAIN

Enjoy a free night of jazz brought to you by the Illinois Central Jazz Train! Every performance is filled with both jazz standards from the likes of Sammy Nestico and Duke Ellington, as well as contemporary works  by Gordon Goodwin and Tom Fatten.

INTERPLANETARY 5K

Walk or run through portions of the Central Illinois Community Solar System, the world's most complete large scale model of the solar system. Participants will  run from the Sun to Mars and back along the Riverfront Trail. It's athletic, it's educational and it's fun for the whole family!

MARCHTOBERFEST

Why wait until the fall to enjoy a German Oktoberfest? Marchtoberfest heralds the end of Winter and the start of Spring, much like Oktoberfest signals the end of Summer and the beginning of Fall. Enjoy a special buffet for consisting of four German type meats and assorted sides!

THE WRECK OF THE COLUMBIA

Ken Zurski, author of "The Wreck of the Columbia," discusses the wreck of the Columbia steamboat, that collapsed and sank in the middle of the Illinois River. Eighty-seven people lost their lives in the disaster. The rest were left to tell their stories of fortitude and survival.
