As January approaches and we look back at the many opportunities that the Ballard Performing Arts has provided our students, we want to give thanks. There are many outlets for personal growth and talent in these programs, and many people that I am grateful for who help make it all happen.
There is a large group of volunteers that help sustain our great programs, and we owe you our thanks. The list is long, and includes those that helped us at events such as the Spotlight Gala, prepared treats for our bake sales, chaperoned on trips and at camp, and donated to our organization, allowing us to continue as an "all-inclusive" organization, where every student can be involved and engaged.
I would also like to thank the members of our Booster Board and our committees. These dedicated individuals are tireless when it comes to serving the Performing Arts programs and have contributed to it's success by supporting our Directors, our activities, our performances, and most importantly all of the students.
It is also with great appreciation that we acknowledge our four outstanding Directors for their hard work and dedication to our programs. We are very fortunate to have them at Ballard not only instructing our students, but enabling in them a sense of discipline in their practices, self-confidence in their performances, and personal joy in the incredible outcome of their music and drama experiences.
Mark your calendars for the next BPA Boosters General meeting on Jan 10th in the BHS library for a review of all of our upcoming events for 2017! In addition, don't miss the 58th Annual Spaghetti Dinner on Feb 4th and the spring musical, Les Misérables in March, along with Opening Weekend of Musical Gala on March 18th and see your talented students in action!
Happy New Year,
President, Ballard Performing Arts Booster Club
