Come join PEF at Erie County SPCA's Paws in the Park, their longest-running fundraiser that is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. The event invites people to come with (or without) their dog for a scenic two-mile walk at Beaver Island State Park.

Ever thought about volunteering with PEF? It's your lucky day because we've created an online volunteer sign-up for all of our upcoming events!

For any event that you sign up, a PEF Board member will be there to teach you everything you need to know. All you need to bring is a smile and a love of pets!

Want to support PEF all year round?  Consider participating in one of the below programs!
  
Amazon SmileSign up with Amazon Smile and they will give 0.5% to PEF for qualified purchases. Purchasers need to go to smile.amazon.com first and enter Niagara Frontier Veterinary Society Pet Emergency Fund Inc. as your charity of choice.  Amazon will then remember your charity selection for future purchases.

New York State Employee Federated Appeal: New York State employees can contribute to PEF through weekly payroll deductions as part of the SEFA NYS.  An employer's payroll office can provide additional information.

United Way of Buffalo & Erie County Campaign : Employees of companies who participate in the United Way's campaign challenge may direct their contributions to PEF.  Simply complete the optional "Where Do You Want Your Gift to Go?" section on the back page of the campaign card.

R. Reed Stevens, DVM
Board Member

Born and raised in Buffalo NY, Dr. Stevens now owns and operates Ellicott Small Animal Hospital, the practice that he took his childhood pets to and was founded in 1880. He also is a founding partner of the West Side Pet Clinic, a lost-cost, basic-service clinic established in 2014.
 
He has served on many local boards, including the Buffalo Academy of Veterinary Medicine, Niagara Frontier Veterinary Society and Western New York Veterinary Medical Association.  He  was a founding member of WNY's first dog park, the Barkyard in LaSalle Park. His practice was the recipient 2014 Buffalo Niagara Business Ethics Award.
 
Dr. Stevens lives in North Buffalo with his wife, Carolyn Hoyt Stevens, his daughters and pets Ellie & Faber.
