This snuggle bunny is Leon!
Leon is an affectionate, snuggly Pitbull-Sharpei mix who is a ton of fun! He loves to chew on toys and chase a tennis ball around the yard. After a long day of fun, Leon adores snuggling up next to you on the couch. Leon loves to be with his people and bonds quickly to his humans. He is a sweet, sensitive boy looking for a low-key household where he can be spoiled with lots of love. Leon can’t wait to find his forever home - could that be with you?!
Volunteer Spotlight
Meet Hannah!
This month’s Volunteer Spotlight is on Hannah! She has volunteered with KHS since 2014 and comes in every Tuesday and Thursday to walk our small dogs. Hannah arrives bright and early and gets to work, walking and loving on all of our small pups. She can often be found making sure they have the softest blankies in their kennels after taking them on walks.

“It makes me happy, seeing all the dogs," Hannah said. "I love seeing the animals!” Hannah’s commitment to walking and caring for dogs is unmistakable, but she's also willing to help out wherever there's a need. She folds laundry almost every shift, making the load lighter for our staff. She has her own dogs, too, and she enjoys walking them when she gets home from helping shelter dogs. In her free time, she likes watching Netflix. Thank you for your service, Hannah!
