Dolly Hand Cultural Arts Cent er, Belle Glade
Wednesday, November 8 at 6:00 P.M.
$10 Adults | FREE for Children under 12

This pre-holiday season, treat your young music lover to a live orchestral performance of Sergei Prokofiev's PETER AND THE WOLF with a cleverly narrated, fully costumed dance interpretation by Ballet East.

Local school children have been secretly enjoying this "favorite field trip" with their students and teachers. Now you can enjoy it with them!

Is this the symphony or a ballet?

It's both. Palm Beach Symphony and Ballet East have collaborated to present a spectacular live performance of one of the most internationally recognized pieces of music: Sergei Prokofiev's PETER AND THE WOLF, performed by Palm Beach Symphony, danced by Ballet East, and narrated by Dale McNulty.
Can I bring the whole family?

Absolutely! This show is fun for all ages, and children under 12 attend for FREE. Until now, this unique production has only been enjoyed by school groups. Thanks to our Co-Sponsor, Dolly Hand Cultural Arts Center, we're excited to open it up for public sale (just $10/ticket) so families can experience this popular music performance together.
What's the story about?

This is the classic tale of a boy named Peter and his adventures with a lovable duck, an impatient bird, a fat cat, a grumpy grandfather, and a scary wolf. Different orchestral instruments are used to represent each memorable character, which makes for a wonderful learning experience on top of the amusing story. Children will learn to identify musical instruments as they listen for the sounds of their favorite characters. What a great start to developing a lifelong love of classical music.

Treat your kids! Treat yourself!
