From Atop the Spiral Staircase at Fox Lea Farm Camp Pre-S'mores:
Something must be in the water at Legacy Farms!! Winning the Grand Prix class today Jared Petersen and Cantano 29!! With a very careful horse and with a great inside turn Jared and Catano had the benefit of being the last to go in the jump-off as they were the last horse in the first round of competition.

Giving Jared a run for his money was Abigail Ron and Tuja 6. Abigail and Tuja were 6th in the Welcome this week making preparations for her ride here in the Grand Prix.

Coming 3rd in the Grand Prix was Christi Israel. Christi also placed 7th riding Cracky Z. Christi is no stranger here at Fox Lea and has become as regular as clockwork in the top ribbons in the Grand Prix and Welcome classes as well as bringing along some younger horses.

The 4th place ribbon and personal best so far in the Grand Prix ranks was Tanner Korotkin. Mr. Korotkin also placed 8th on Nea Forlani Z.Tanner has also been doing very well in the Equitation classes here during our Camp series.

From Atop the Spiral Staircase at Camp Fox Lea:
Third of seven of the USHJA National Hunter Derby Classes at Camp Fox Lea is in the books. Winning the Derby was Dominique Gonzalez from San Juan Puerto Rico riding for Wadsworth Equestrian of Lantana Fl. We were able to catch up with Dominque for a quick chat about Ro-Ro. Yesterday was his 7th birthday!!

"I want to thank the owners Wadsworth Equestrian for the ride on such a great horse! As well as my dad for training m e and my mom for cleaning my boots and making sure I'm always polished before going in. Of course a thank you to the big pony for the win"
Snowland owned by Kristen Price of Odessa FL and ridden by Clair Kellner came 2nd and Lia Screnci riding her own Zoffany was 3rd.

From Atop the Spiral Staircase at the Camp Fox Lea Grand Prix:

Legacy and Jared Peterson riding Catano 29 do it again!!
That's the second Grand Prix win in a row for Jared Petersen and Catano 29 here at the Camp series!! They took an inside turn that made all the difference in making the time to take the win. Six horses would make the advance to the jump-off. Kyle Dewar would end up 2nd and 3rd on Clever Van De Helle and Darkos Promise.

Luis Larrazabal riding G And C Clos eup for San Francisco Stables of Wellington earned 4th place. Jared also placed 5th riding Titus 2:11. Christi Israel would also make the jump-off riding Cracky Z. Her other mount Clouseau would be our fastest 4 faulter of the morning and placed 7th.

Admission is $5.00 collected at the entrance gate, parking is free! Follow signs for parking...comfortable walking shoes are suggested.
Gates open to the public at 7:30 Am, open course walk at 8:00 AM (walk the path of the course the horses will jump with the riders & take pictures next to jumps close to 5ft tall, bring your cameras!), & first horse on course at 9:00 AM.
