We have some exciting news this month! Help us celebrate volunteer Cheyenne Powell for her nomination in the upcoming Be More Awards. Prepare for delays in our Wellness Clinic since we are down one veterinarian this month, and don't forget to order a new t-shirt from our gear shop. Please enjoy this issue!

Volunteer Nominated for Award
Cheyenne Powell, Be More Awards 3/29 @ 7pm
Pets Alive all-star volunteer Cheyenne Powell has been nominated for the Be More Compassionate Award in the 2016 Be More Awards, which is the most prestigious award for volunteers in the area. Cheyenne has volunteered with Pets Alive for two years, and continues to go above and beyond to help keep the clinic running.
Cheyenne has affected Pets Alive in an immeasurable way through her kindness and bubbling personality. She brings life and laughter to her work and loves both people and animals unconditionally. We could not be more proud of Cheyenne and encourage you to attend the Be More Awards at 7pm on March 29 at the Buskirk Chumley Theater. Come support Cheyenne and all the volunteers who make our community a great one!
Pets Alive offers low-cost vaccinations and wellness services to owned pets. Our Wellness Clinic is usually open Monday - Wednesday from 4-6pm and Thursdays from 12-5pm. However, one of our veterinarians will be out for the next month, leaving only one veterinarian to perform an average of 50 spay/neuter surgeries each day! Wow - we have an amazing staff!
Since Pets Alive's mission is to provide spay/neuter surgeries first, this has resulted in delays and cancellations in our daily Wellness Clinic. So please - before you bring your pet to our clinic,
check our Facebook page for any delays or cancellations. We will update our social media pages with that information every day.Thank you for your understanding during this busy time!
