One of my all time faves....JD McPherson is coming to town this upcoming Wednesday for a concert at The Social in downtown. I will see you there....tickets are still available and you DO want to be cool, right? Here's a mellow tune from JD and the boys....chill out this weekend!
Join Us in Winter Park TOMORROW!!
Join us TOMORROW at WUCF's 5th Annual Be My Neighbor Day in Winter Park! From noon til 3pm we'll be in Central Park.

Your kids will be able to rock out to Mr. Richard's kid-friendly tunes, and our own Miss Tricia will be teaching little ones how to be healthy and have fun, and of course, the star of the day, Daniel Tiger himself will be there.

See you tomorrow!
Welcome to New WUCF Staffers
WUCF welcomed two new staff members so far in 2019.....I'd like to wish them both a long tenure here at WUCF....

First, I'd like to welcome Andrea Dennis to the role of Communications Manager. Andrea joins us from Spectrum/Charter where she has worked as a member of the corporate communications team. Her past experience includes WESH and I HEART MEDIA.
Andrea will be handling communication activities like newsletters, websites, social media and more.

Next, I'd like to welcome Shiyana Valentine, our new Education and Community Engagement Manager. Shiyana joins WUCF from The Orange County Public Library as a Youth Outreach Coordinator.

We are thrilled to have Shiyana and Andrea join the team! I'm sure you'll be seeing them in the community soon!
Tune for "The Groveland Four"
After nearly 70 years of controversy, Governor Ron DeSantis formally pardoned the men involved in the Groveland Four case in January 2019.

Tune in February 28th at 10pm to see WUCF's Emmy-Award nominated film about the case, along with updates from the hearing with the new governor.
QUOTE OF THE DAY
