Dear Friends of the Farm,
Black currants and blueberries are now ready for pick-your-own and at their prime! We expect to have them available for pick-your-own at least through this weekend, possibly longer depending on the weather. Please check our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/fishkillfarms) or Twitter feed (@fishkillfarms) for up-to-the moment information on crop availability.
Farm store and pick-your-own are open daily, from 10am to 6pm. Peaches and nectarines will be ripe within the next few weeks.
Save the date for Peachtopia, our event celebrating--you guessed it--peaches. We will have hay rides, live music, peach picking, and a recipe contest. Please email or facebook us if you have a great peach recipe you would like to submit. Winners will receive a $20 gift certificate to the store and 20 pounds of peaches.
We are interested in connecting with local artists who have any farm- or produce-themed work. Please let us know if you or anyone you know would be interested.
