A Message From Michelle
The snow falls and magically, the world becomes more beautiful in an instant.  Whether you love it or hate it, you must admit that the first snowfall instantly brings out the child in us.  The traffic on the roads (and in our heads) seems to slow down and the beautiful sound of quiet sets in.  One of my most favorite things is to walk outside when it's snowing; it becomes an explosion to the senses.  Your eyes feast on its simple beauty and the way it floats down and catches itself on the smallest branches to eventually become this amazing work of art.  You reach out to touch it and it's cold, yet comforting all at once.  You throw back your head and try to catch it on your tongue; laughing and feeling it melt like particles of cold cotton candy...and you listen, to the silence of snow.  This month's message  is simple in that it's a reminder to all of us, and here's to hoping I'll take my own advice, to truly slow down.  Put aside the technology, turn off the television and the Netflix series, and turn up the music of life and people and those we call family and friends.  Their voices, their faces, their purpose in our lives will provide a much deeper meaning and ask us to appreciate the "simple".  Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and here's wishing each of you a Happy & Healthy 2018!  See you in January...and try experiencing those snowflakes!!
