The set has been dismantled and the makeup is a memory, but The Elephant Piece lives on in pictures, video, and beautifully penned reviews that we share with you in this newsletter - and of course, in the minds and hearts of all who came into contact with the majestic beast of a musical that was The Elephant Piece. We hope you enjoy this reminiscence!

Amazing reviews
(click title for complete review)

"Snowlion Repertory succeeds in delivering a multilayered production that simultaneously entertains and calls the public to action"

"Snowlion Repertory Company presents this riotous circus of a dystopia, with Al D'Andrea directing a stellar ensemble cast in a disorienting, absurdist production that's sometimes puckish, sometimes horrifying...The expressionistic result is both liberatingly playful and devastatingly, sometimes chillingly taut."

"It truly is a beautiful thing when I walk into a theater with absolutely no clue as to what I will witness and leave smiling, with my head swimming from the experience. Snowlion Repertory Company stages an absurdist, surreal new musical at the Portland Stage Studio Space, THE ELEPHANT PIECE. A wonderful journey ensues, delivering the audience safely at the destination of self questioning as a society."

Snowlion Rep to bring PLAYLAB
to Bangor!

PLAYLAB member Laura Emack's newest full-length Power Play will make its public debut on Saturday, May 31 at the Bangor Public Library, in a staged reading with talkback that benefits the library's Building Fund.  Power Play is set in the world of college hockey and follows the coaches and players as they navigate a variety of challenges both physical and ethical as  they seek a winning season.

Power Play has recently gone through the PLAYLAB process.  After a rehearsed reading for fellow Playlab members, followed by a lively and informative discussion of the play, Laura has taken the feedback, implemented script changes, and now is taking the next step - eliciting audience reactions and feedback from the public.

If you're in the Bangor area and want to support Laura, Snowlion Rep, the building fund (suggested donation $5), or if you're just a hockey fan, come by the library at 1:30 this Saturday for something brand new, on a subject never before seen on stage!
