This weekend the Pigapalooza Improv Festival comes to the MET. The Comedy Pigs have invited some fantastic improv troupes up to Frederick including Commonwealth, Season Six, Ponch, Quatro Formaggio, and many more. There will be new groups with every show, so get our Festival pass to see all three performances.
Coming soon, our new original piece I Am (Not) My Mother. A collage of stories, images and songs depicting the lovely and sometimes tumultuous relationships between mothers and daughters. Taken from stories shared by women and girls in the Frederick area. Proceeds will benefit The Women's Giving Circle. Laugh Station, Robin Hood, and our 15th Birthday Party are also coming up soon so visit marylandensemble.org for all the latest.

A collage of stories, images and songs depicting the lovely and sometimes tumultuous relationships between mothers and daughters. Suzanne Beal collected stories from more than 80 women all over Frederick County from the Record Street Home to a group of sixth grade girls for the source material. Proceeds will benefit The Women's Giving Circle. The cast features Jeanine Collins, Lynette Franklin, Julie Herber, Erika Jarecki and Lia Seltzer with music by Jessica Bowers.

The latest installment of Laugh Station finds our heroes in a sticky situation, after the crew mistakenly ingests a batch of hallucinogenic space fruit, they are plunged into a surrealistic dream world. Meanwhile, the Federation High Council are on their way to visit the Laugh Station for a routine inspection. Little do they know, the crew is undergoing the ultimate trip...
