July Networking Opportunities

  • July 11th at NOON -- BUSINESS MEETING (normally held on the 1st Tuesday of each month at the Pine Government Center) delayed a week due to the holiday. We follow an agenda to share updates from the event committees & other Chamber Programs. There is also an open forum at the end of each meeting for members to share news, events, or other announcements.

The 2017 Pine County Parade will be held on Saturday, August 5th in Pine City, MN at 4:00 PM. We look forward to another great year of participation from local marching bands, businesses, youth groups, churches and more! There is still time and space available for units to get registered for this event.  


Registration closes when we reach 100 units.

New owner, Scott DeRocker, is starting a new tradition this year by hosting the 1st Annual Classic Car & Truck show at Roubinek Motors along with A&W Restaurant & O'Reilly Auto Parts.  Pine City will be hopping that day, so cruise in for a great time!

PTTC Offers Drone Pilots Prep Course
This Fall: 6 week course, Wednesday evenings 9/13 - 10/18

The demand for unmanned aerial systems (UAS) or drone pilots is exploding! This 6 week course will get you the knowledge needed to successfully pass the FAA's UAS Part 107 exam and begin your career in the drone industry. This certification is a requirement for anyone who wants to use a drone for commercial or financial gain.

Students will learn from a FAA certified pilot and professional aerial photographer and videographer. Emphasis will include understanding of the major elements of the 107 exam including UAS regulations, operations, weather, airspace, communications, aeronautical decision making and safety.

You are just 6 weeks away from a new career, part time employment, or small business opportunity! US News and World Reports indicated that the average salary for a full time drone pilot is $60,000 per year!

Drone piloting is part video game, part nature walk, part computer wiz and part visionary. Do you have what it takes to take your career to new heights?

Pine Center for the Arts ~ Upcoming Events
