Students may dress down for a $5 donation to Kaleidoscope Foundation on Friday, Sept. 5th.

PTO Pride Night  |
PTO will host a Pride Night Thursday, September 25, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Hawthorne's Pizza in Huntersville. Mention PLP when you order and Pine Lake will get 15% of the profit.

Buy Now for Lowest Price
Order your yearbook at www.jostens.com by September 15 to take advantage of the best price offered. The full color annual covers grades K-12 and can be purchased for $35 until Sept. 15.
Pricing then increases to $45 until about the end of the year, and then jumps to $60 after books have been printed.

Annual Community Meeting
The Annual Pine Lake Prep Community Meeting will be held Wednesday, September 24 at 6:30 p.m.
Chris Terrill, Head of Schools, will deliver a "State of the School" address focusing on a 2013/2014 year in review, and 2014/2015 goals. If you cannot attend, the annual meeting will be video recorded and be available on the website.
Please RSVP here so we can be sure to have enough space. The meeting is planned at the Upper School Seminar Room, but may be moved to the ACC or The Cove if more space is needed.

Thank you for participating in the GoPlaySave school fundraiser to lower the cost of field trips for your grade. Please send in your envelopes with payment when you are finished selling the books.
Additional books can either be sent home with your child, or you can turn in your envelopes to the Houston House (the yellow house at the entrance to campus) to pick up the books. They do get heavy if you need more than a few!
Please turn in all envelopes and payment by September 15th.

After School Explorations
Kaleidi's Explorations program gives students a chance to participate in a chosen program for a six week session. Our offerings include Art, Dance, Sports, STEM, Piano, Show Choir, Karate, Chess and more! Every session, we try to vary what we are offering to give variety to families.
Registration ends this Friday, September 5.

The campus will be buzzing with activity! Bring a picnic blanket or sheet and enjoy barbecue on the new athletic field while enjoying music performances, games and activities.
Get your spirit wear, and pick up a few bargains for school uniforms! The Back Porch school store will be open, and Mrs. Kurtz will have a Used Uniform Sale 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Drinks & baked goods available for additional purchase at the event.
Tickets sold at the Houston House, at the administrative associate desk at each school or from your favorite Middle School or Upper School football player!! Proceeds to benefit the PLP Athletics Booster Club.
