Pride Night Jan. 21



The next PTO Pride Night will be held Wednesday, January 21 from 5-9 p.m. 

In addition to wings, BWW serves burgers, sandwiches and has 8 kids meals. Come support the PLP community.

KF Dress Down This Friday

Students may dress down this Friday, January 9th, for a $5 donation to the Kaleidoscope Foundation. Please write checks payable to KF.

Lower School Cheer Camp  

The Varsity Cheerleading Team will be coaching a cheer camp for grades K-5. Not only will they be learning cheers from the Varsity Cheerleaders, but they will also be cheering and performing with them at one of our home basketball games!

The Camp will be held January 15th, from 2:30 - 5:30 p.m. Campers will then take what they've learned to the ACC gym floor the next day at a varsity game, 7 - 8:30 p.m.

Lower School Career Fair Jan. 28


Do you have an exciting career that you would like to share with Lower School students? We are looking for presenters for our Career Fair on January 28 from 8:00 - 11:00 a.m.  The presenters will speak to each class in a grade level for 25 minutes per class.

Upper School Movie Night



PLP's National Thespian Society will host a "Movie Night" in January.  


Friday, January 9th at 6:30 p.m. 
 
All Upper School students are invited to attend our first annual Movie Night. We will be showing Hairspray in the U.S. Theatre room in the Fine Arts Building.  

Cost is $2 for entry and popcorn and drinks will be on sale for $1 each. All money will go to charity.

(This is a PLP student only event) 


 


Help Team SPORK Stock the Mooresville Soup Kitchen



Help Team SPORK help the Mooresville Soup Kitchen. 


 

After the busy holiday season the Mooresville Soup Kitchen needs items to help keep up with the growing amount of people who get their meals from the soup kitchen. 

The Food drive will run from January 5th to January 16th. Donation boxes are located in each building's lobby. 

The Items needed by the Mooresville Soup Kitchen are Canned Goods, 45 gallon trash bags, Styrofoam Plates with 3 Divided Sections, 10 oz. Styrofoam Cups, Forks, Knives, Napkins, Paper Towels, Dawn Dish Detergent, Hand Soap, Instant Packs of Grits, Instant Coffee, Non-dairy Coffee Creamer, Disposable Salt Shakers, Beef Broth, and Sugar.
